Wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors: roll-over protection, static testing. Codification

PURPOSE : to codify provisions on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the roll-over protection structures of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (static testing).

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Directive 2009/75/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on roll-over protection structures of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (static testing).

CONTENT: the purpose of this Directive is to undertake a codification of Council Directive 79/622/EEC of 25 June 1979 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the roll-over protection structures of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (static testing).

This new Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. The Directive fully preserves the content of the acts and hence does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.

ENTRY INTO FORCE: 23/10/2009.

APPLICATION: from 01/01/2010.
