Community system of reliefs from customs duty. Codification

PURPOSE: codification of Council Regulation (EEC) n° 918/83 setting up a Community system of reliefs from customs duty.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Council Regulation (EC) No 1186/2009 setting up a Community system of reliefs from customs duty (codified version).

CONTENT: the purpose of this Regulation is to undertake a codification of Council Regulation (EEC) No 918/83 setting up a Community system of reliefs from customs duty. The new Regulation will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. It fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bringing them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.

ENTRY INTO FORCE: 30/12/2009. The Regulation will apply from 01/01/2010.
