Raw tobacco: common organisation of the market CMO (amend. Regulation (EEC) No 2075/92)

PURPOSE : to set the deduction from the 2004 harvest premium to finance the Community Tobacco Fund. LEGISLATIVE ACT : Council Regulation 2319/2003/EC amending Regulation 2075/92/EEC on the common organisation of the market in raw tobacco. CONTENT : the Council unanimously adopted a Regulation amending Regulation 2075/92/EEC on the common organisation of the market in raw tobacco. In a transitional context pending entry into force of the reform of the CMO for raw tobacco, the Regulation fixes, for the 2004 harvest, the percentage to be deducted from the premium to finance the Community Tobacco Fund at the same level as for the 2003 harvest (3%).
