Europol: Staff regulations, Director and Deputy Directors. Initiative Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg

PURPOSE : to amend the Staff Regulations applicable to Europol employees. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Act of 19 December 2002 amending the Staff Regulations applicable to Europol employees. CONTENT : the Act, proposed by an initiative from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg aims to define the procedures relating to the nomination of the Director and Deputy Directors of the Europol and for the application of other powers in their respect by the authority vested with nominating powers. The special provisions concern in particular issues such as the selection procedures, the termination of service, resignation, compulsory resignation, the retirement in the interests of Europol, dismissal, retirement and lastly disciplinary measures.
