Car industry: tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers, fitting. Codification

The Committee on Legal Affairs adopted the report drafted by Antonio LÓPEZ-ISTÚRIZ WHITE (EPP, ES) on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers and to their fitting (codified text).

It recommends that the European Parliament adopts its position at first reading under the ordinary legislative procedure taking over the Commission proposal as adapted to the recommendations of the Consultative Working Party of the legal services of the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission.
