Amending budget 2/2004: section VIII part B: European data-protection Supervisor

PURPOSE : final adoption of the amending budget 2/2004 of the European Union. LEGISLATIVE ACT : 2004/347/EC, Euratom. CONTENT : the European Parliament adopted the amending budget 2/2002 of the European Union in accordance with its resolution of 9 March 2004 (refer to the summary of this resolution). This amending budget provides appropriations for the budget lines in Section VIII Part B of the 2004 budget to finance the European Data-protection Supervisor. A total amount of EUR 1 272 000 has been allocated as well as the creation of 15 posts in the establishment plan of Section VIII Part B of the 2004 budget.�
