Budgetary discipline: mobilisation of the flexibility instrument for the reconstruction of Iraq, 2003-2004

PURPOSE: to mobilise the flexibility instrument in favour of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Iraq after the war. LEGISLATIVE ACT: Decision 2004/155/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the mobilisation of the flexibility instrument in favour of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Iraq according to point 24 of the Inter-institutional Agreement of 6 May 1999. CONTENT: This Decision mobilises the flexibility instrument in view of the financing of the reconstruction in Iraq. The flexibility instrument will be used to provide the sum of EUR 95.000.000 in commitment appropriations.�
