Mobilisation of the EU Solidarity Fund: flooding in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria in 2012

The European Parliament adopted by 683 votes to 15, with 4 abstentions, a resolution approving the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund, in accordance with point 26 of the Interinstitutional Agreement of 17 May 2006 between the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission on budgetary discipline and sound financial management.
These funds aim to mobilise the European Union Solidarity Fund for an amount of EUR 14 607 942 to assist Slovenia, Croatia and Austria hit by flooding in 2012. An amending budget is adopted in parallel in order to formally enter this amount in the Unions budget (see 2013/2086(BUD).
