Hops: common organisation of the market CMO (amend. Regulation (EEC) No 1696/71)

PURPOSE : to amend certain features of Council Regulation 1696/71/EEC on structural assistance aspects relating to the Community hops market. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Regulation 191/2000/EC amending Regulation 1696/71/EEC on the common organisation of the market in hops. CONTENT : the amendment is designed: - to delete from the basic regulation the provision requiring the Commission to submit a report every year, since the rate of aid is now set every five years rather than every year, - to stipulate that a report should be submitted at the end of every five year period. ENTRY INTO FORCE: 01/01/2000.�
