EC/Indonesia Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation: accession of Croatia to the EU. Protocol
The European Parliament adopted by 621 votes to 6, with 2 abstentions, a legislative resolution on the draft Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the Union and its Member States, of the Accession Protocol to the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Indonesia, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
Parliament gave its consent to the conclusion of the protocol.
This Accession Protocol allows the Republic of Croatia to accede as a Party to the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation between the European Community and its Member States and the Republic of Indonesia which was signed in Jakarta on 9 November 2009. In line with the Act concerning the condition of accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union, Croatia undertakes to accede to the agreements concluded or signed by the European Union and its Member States with one or more third countries or with an international organisation.
