Proposal for a decision requesting the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations to verify whether Europe of Sovereign Nations Party complies with the conditions laid down in Article 3(1), points (d) and (e), of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445

The European Parliament adopted by 414 votes to 224, with 18 abstentions, a decision requesting the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations to verify whether Europe of Sovereign Nations Party complies with the conditions laid down in Article 3(1), points (d) and (e), of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445.

The procedure was triggered after the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations (APPF) - the independent EU authority responsible for registering, controlling, and sanctioning European political organisations - informed Parliament, the Council and the Commission of facts casting doubt on whether the Europe of Sovereign Nations (ESN) party complies with EU values, as it is required to do.

The request presented by 247 Members seeks to verify whether Europe of Sovereign Nations Party complies with the conditions laid down in Article 3(1), points (d) and (e), of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2025 on the statute and funding of the European political parties and European political foundations.

Parliament decided to request the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations to verify whether Europe of Sovereign Nations Party complies with the conditions laid down in Article 3(1), points (d) and (e), of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2025/2445.
