Air carrier liability in case of air accidents

Commissioner Kinnock said that Amendments Nos 1 and 4 could be taken over as they aimed to encourage third country carriers to apply the same levels of liability insurance cover as European airlines. Amendments Nos 2 and 3 on the comprehensive information on the carrier’s liability regime which airlines were required to provide to passengers were also accepted.
