Conservation of Antarctic marine living resources: catch documentation scheme for Dissostichus spp.

On 10 July 2000, the Commission sent a proposal for a Regulation to the Council establishing a catch documentation scheme for Dissostichus spp. In a letter dated 27 July, the Council in turn submitted the proposal to the European Parliament. In order to amend the technical aspects of Articles 7 to 12 of the proposal, the Commission proposed the appeal to the management committee procedure in its proposal. On 27 October 2000, Coreper made an amendement to the Committee procedure in order to establish application conditions of the regulation by the management procedure and bring about technical amendments in accordance with the regulatory procedure. On the 27 october 2000, Coreper also decided to inform the European Parliament of this amendment made to the Committee procedure. �
