Control measures in the north-east Atlantic fisheries (NEAFC), multilateral cooperation

PURPOSE: to lay down certain control measures applicable in the areas covered by the Convention on future multilateral cooperation in the north-east Atlantic fisheries. COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Regulation 215/2001/EC. CONTENT: The main provision of the Regulation is that with regard to the remaining in force of certain Articles of Regulation 2791/1999/EC on an ad hoc basis, the date '31 December 2000' shall be replaced each time by '31 December 2002'. Regarding the Commission's requirement to submit a proposal providing for a definitive regime, the date '30 September 2000' shall be replaced by '30 September 2002'. ENTRY INTO FORCE: 22.02.2001.�
