Transport of dangerous goods by road: type-approval of motor vehicles and trailers (amend. Directive 70/156/EEC)

The common position does not incorporate Parliament's amendment. The articles of the common position have been revised to bring them into line with the structure of other directives on motor vehicles recently adopted by the Council and Parliament. The definition of the ADR agreement at Article 2 has been deleted as there is no reference to that agreement in the other articles or annexes. A reference has, however, been included in the preamble to demonstrate the link between this directive and the agreement. �
