Common organisation of the markets in processed fruit and vegetable products
2001/0052(CNS)
PURPOSE : to rectify Regulation 2201/96/EC.
COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Regulation 1239/2001/EC rectifying Regulation 2201/96/EC on the common organisation of the markets in processed fruit and vegetable products.
CONTENT : Regulation 2699/2000/EC extensively amends the Community aid scheme for the processing of tomatoes, peaches and pears covered by Article 2 to 6 of Title I of Regulation 2201/96/EC on the common organisation of the markets in processed fruit and vegetable products. However, it does not amend the aid scheme for the production of dried prunes and figs, which also appears in those same Articles. With a view to clarity, however, these provisions have been regouped under three new Articles: 6a, 6b and 6c. As a result, the aid scheme for the production of dried figs and prunes, previously established by Article 2 or Regulation 2201/96/EC is now established by Article 6a of that Regulation.
Therefore, this Regulation simply corrects Regulation 2201/96/EC.
ENTRY INTO FORCE : 29/06/2001.
