The Committee feels that the objective of harmonizing and simplifying Baltic and EU fishing regulations is justified and worthwhile, as it is intended to facilitate the activities and cooperation of the industry and the authorities. Finding no factual or technical errors in the proposal, the ESC endorses it unreservedly.�
