European youth: grants to bodies active at European level, 2004-2006 action programme

The committee adopted the report by Christa PRETS (PES, A) approving the Council's common position under the 2nd reading of the codecision procedure, subject to just one amendment. This introduced transitional provisions to take account of the fact that the act could not be adopted before the beginning of 2004. In this way, beneficiaries would be able to claim a grant for the totality of their eligible costs in 2004.�
