Human consumption: fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and chestnut purée

PURPOSE : to amend Annex I of Directive 2001/113/EC relating to fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption. PROPOSED ACT : Council Directive. CONTENT : the Commission is proposing to amend the German language version of the Directive in order to take into account of this existing tradition on the use of the sales names 'jam' and 'marmalade' in certain local markets in Austria.�
