Foodstuffs, consumers' protection: labelling, presentation and advertising. (codif. Directive 79/112/EEC)

In the context of the interinstitutional agreement on an accelerated working method for official codification of legislative texts, the committee decided to follow the procedure without report concerning the proposal for a directive to codify the directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the labelling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs, as Parliament's Legal Service considered that the proposal constituted a straightforward codification which did not alter the substance of the relevant acts.�
