National aid granted in compensation for losses of agricultural income caused by monetary movements

- OBJECTIVE: to make it possible to grant national aid in compensation for losses of income caused by monetary movements in other Member States.
- SUBSTANCE: The proposal for a regulation provides that the national aid must be justified by elements of fact and cannot be granted in a manner which favours the production of one particular sector. The aid in question must be graduated over a maximum period of three years and must be authorized by the Commission in accordance with the procedural measures laid down in Article 93 of the Treaty.
