Animal nutrition: undesirable substances and products. Codification

OBJECTIVE: the purpose of the Commission proposal is to undertake codification of Council Directive 74/63/EEC of 17 December 1973 on the undesirable substances and products in animal nutrition. The new directive will supersede the various directives incorporated in it; their content is fully preserved, and they are brought together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself. This codified text will be used as the basis for the further development of legislation in this field. �
