Access to the groundhandling market at Community airports

The Commission's amended proposal incorporates, in full or in part, the European Parliament's amendments which: - make the text easier to understand by making provision for exemptions to be requested and granted for one or more types of activity on the ground for which the number of suppliers may be limited in all or part of the airport; - require Member States to take the action needed to set up the users' committee; - make the approval procedure compulsory; - relate to reference criteria for granting approval; - relate to the content of the Commission report and any proposals to revise certain aspects of the directive.�
