Conservation of fishery resources in the Baltic Sea, the Belts and the Sound (repeal. Regulation (EEC) No 1866/86). Codification

OBJECTIVE: this proposal is designed to consolidate Council Regulation 1866/86/EEC laying down certain technical measures for the conservation of fishery resources in the waters of the Baltic Sea, the Belts and the Sound. SUBSTANCE: the new regulation replaces various regulations which have been consolidated; it fully respects the substance of the codified texts and only consolidates them, making the formal amendments required by the codification exercise. This consolidation was drawn up on the basis of a preliminary consolidation of the text in all the official languages of the original regulation and the instruments amending it. �
