Decentralised Community agencies: Translation centre for bodies of the Union

OBJECTIVE: to amend Regulation 2965/94/EC establishing a Translation Centre for Bodies of the European Union in order to modify the basic regulations governing the financial control of this agency. CONTENT: the proposed amendments apply solely to the power of discharge : the Centre is mainly funded by EU subsidy and it is therefore proposed that the power of discharge be granted to the European Parliament on the recommendation of the Centre's directors. �
