Agricultural statistics: improving and extension until 2007

PURPOSE : to improve Community agricultural statistics. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Decision 1919/2002/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Decision 96/411/EC on improving Community agricultural statistics. CONTENT : the Council unanimously adopted the Decision (with the abstention of the German and Swedish delegations) amending Council Decision 96/411/EC on improving Community agricultural Statistics. This Decision extends the action taken to improve the agricultural statistics system until 2007. A statement by the Commission underlines the need to include under Community TAPAS action plans projects having a clear Community interest. ENTRY INTO FORCE : 01/11/2002.�
