Telecommunications: operator number portability and carrier pre-selection

The Commission accepts the single amendment tabled by Parliament at second reading. This concerns the responsibility of the national regulatory authorities to ensure that the fees charged by operators for interconnection for the pre-selection system are cost-orientated and that direct charges to consumers, if any, do not act as a disincentive for the use of this facility. �
