Europol: Staff regulations, Director and Deputy Directors. Initiative Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg

PURPOSE : to amend the Staff Regulations for Europol employees. CONTENT : These amendments to the Europol Staff Regulations deal in particular with the procedures for the nomination of the director and Deputy Directors, and for the application of other powers in their respect. Appendix 8 of the Regulations is replaced with new provisions that cover: -selection procedures; -termination of service, with reference to resignation; compulsory resignation; retirement in the interests of the service; dismissal, and retirement. -disciplinary proceedings, including disciplinary measures and special provisions for the case provided for in Article 29(6) of the Europol Convention; -appeals; -special provisions concerning the Director. �
