Community system of protection of plant variety rights: procedures for appeal before Community courts

- OBJECTIVE: to amend Regulation (EC) No 2100/94 establishing a Community system for the protection of plant variety rights, with a view to clarifying the provisions relating to the procedures for appeal before Community courts in the different areas of industrial and commercial property rights. - COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Regulation (EC) No 2506/95. - SUBSTANCE: . alignment of the rules applicable to appeals which may be made against the decisions of the Community Plant Varieties Office, or of its Boards of Appeal which have been instituted by the basic regulation, relating to those which have already been adopted in comparable fields by Regulation (EC) No 40/94 on Community brands. This alignment is to be implemented before 27.04.1995, the date on which the new Community system will apply in full. . ENTRY INTO FORCE: 29.10.1995. �
