Provisions governing the exercise of the European Parliament's right of inquiry

The European Parliament approved the European Parliament, Council and Commission decision concerning the European Parliament's procedures for exercising its right of inquiry. The EP felt that the compromise reached between the three institutions was an acceptable outcome and that it would be wise to look at the possibility of reviewing the procedures for exercising the right of inquiry in light of the experience gained during the present parliamentary term. �
