NAFO Pilot Observer Scheme applicable to fishing vessels operating in the North-West Atlantic

Parliament approved the Commission proposal subject to two amendments. They aimed to ensure that the Commission submitted to Parliament and the Council a report on the implementation and impact of the pilot scheme before agreeing any further prolongations of the programme within the NAFO Fisheries Commission and that it submitted any new proposals concerning the NAFO Joint International Inspection Scheme. �
