Safety and health of workers: protection against risk from explosive atmospheres

Following the entry into force of the Treaty of Amsterdam on 01/05/99, the European Parliament confirmed (without debate) as its first reading under codecision procedure its vote of 20/06/96 on the proposal for a European Parliament and Council directive on minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres. The Parliament's rapporteur is Bartho Pronk (NL,PPE).�
