EC staff regulation: measures to terminate the service of temporary staff following the 1995 enlargement of the EC

In adopting the report by Mr ROTHLEY (PSE, D), Parliament approved the proposal for a regulation with the following amendments: - the measures are authorized up to 31.12.2000 instead of 30.06.2000. As a result, all the dates proposed by the Commission are put back by 6 months; - the number of opportunities for permanent retirement which are not taken up during a particular period are to be deferred to the following period. �
