Agricultural holdings: network of accountancy data on the incomes and business operation (amend. Regul. 79/65/EEC)

OBJECTIVE: to amend Regulation (EEC) No 79/65 setting up a network for the collection of
accountancy data on the incomes and business operations of agricultural holdings in the Community.
COMMUNITY MEASURE: Regulation (EC) No 1256/97 amending Regulation (EEC) No 79/65.
SUBSTANCE: the network in question was already governed by the rule that the accountancy data
and other individual information relating to agricultural holdings could not be used for taxation
purposes; the purpose of the amendment was to strengthen these provisions, prohibiting any use of
the data for purposes other than those specified in the Regulation.
DATE OF ENTRY INTO FORCE: 09/07/1997.
