Improving Community agricultural statistics

OBJECTIVE: to amend Decision 96/411/EC on improving Community agricultural statistics.
COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Decision 98/3/EC.
SUBSTANCE: the decision amends the deadline for forwarding reports from the Member States (31
July instead of 31 March) and the deadline for the submission of the Commission's report on
progress in implementing the Decision in question (01/11/1999 instead of 01/11/1997).
The German delegation abstained.
