OBJECTIVE: codification of Directives 91/263/EEC and 93/97/EEC. COMMUNITY MEASURE: Directive 98/13/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council SUBSTANCE: The Directive concerns telecommunications terminal equipment and satellite earth station equipment, including the mutual recognition of their conformity. It consolidates in a single text Council Directives 91/263/EEC concerning telecommunications terminal equipment, including the mutual recognition of their conformity, and 93/97/EEC supplementing Directive 91/262/EEC in respect of satellite earth station equipment.
