Tax for the benefit of the EC: extension to the Central Bank ECB staff (amend. Regul. 260/68/EEC/Euratom/ECSC)

OBJECTIVE: to ensure the practical operation of the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank (ECB). COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Regulation (EC, ECSC, Euratom) No 1197/98. SUBSTANCE: the Regulation extends the scope of Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 260/68 laying down the conditions and procedure for applying the tax for the benefit of the European Communities (to staff of the Communities, EIB, EIF and, until its liquidation, the EMI) so as to include members of the Governing Council and General Council of the ECB, members of its staff and pensioners.
