Trans-European networks: rules for the granting of funding (Regulation (EC) No 2236/95). Annual report 1999

The European Parliament adopted the resolution by Francesco TURCHI (UEN, I) approving the Commission's financing of the TENS programmes in 1999. The Parliament calls for priority to be given to the promotion of projects which clearly demonstrate positive and long-term effects on the environment and employment and which help to resolve bottlenecks in the trans-European transport network, particularly in rail and combined transport.�
