2003 budget: section III, Commission

PURPOSE : to adopt the general budget of the European Union for the financial year 2003. COMMUNITY MEASURE : 2003/94/EC, Euratom. CONTENT : the budget of the European Union for the financial year 2003 has been finally adopted in accordance with the budgetary procedure closed on the 19 December 2002. The budget has therefore been adopted in accordance with the priorities defined by the budgetary authorities at the budget conciliation meeting on 25 November 2002 and by Parliament at its plenary session (see the text dated 19.12.2002). It takes account of the mobilisation of the flexibility instrument for the financing of certain actions in the area of fishing.�
