Operations to aid uprooted people in Asian and Latin American developing countries: aid after the end of 2004

 The committee adopted the report by Luisa MORGANTINI (GUE/NGL, IT) broadly approving the proposal under the 1st reading of the codecision procedure, subject to just a few amendments. These sought to ensure that the Commission would be required to submit an independent evaluation report no later than one year before the expiry of the Regulation and that the application of the Regulation would be limited to a specific period corresponding to the period covered by the financial provisions.
