European Parliament: verification of credentials of members elected for the European elections in June 1999

 The committee adopted the report by its chairman, Giuseppe GARGANI (EPP-ED, IT), declaring valid the mandate of the Members of the European Parliament listed in the Annex to the report who had completed the necessary written declarations and whose election had been notified by the competent national authorities. The report also rejected objections that had been received to the validity of the election of certain MEPs.
