EU/Industrialised non-member country relations: bilateral cooperation and trade relations, extension to the 31 December 2007 and budgetary provisions

 The committee adopted the report by David MARTIN (PES, UK) broadly approving the proposal under the consultation procedure, subject to two amendments:

- the Gateway to Japan programme and the Executive Training Programme had been so successful that similar programmes should be envisaged in the future with other countries, such as China;

- a coordinator should be re-introduced for the different EU Centres.
