Europol: staff regulations, amendments. Initiative Denmark

PURPOSE : to amend the Staff Regulation applicable to Europol employees. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Act amending the Staff Regulations applicable to Europol employees. CONTENT : the Council adopted, based n the Danish initiative, an Act amending the Staff Regulations applicable to Europol employees. These measures, adopted unanimously, lay down detailed arrangements applicable to Europol employees. They concern in particular obligations; working conditions; emoluments and family allowances; the rules relating to the reimbursement of expenses; social security benefits; education allowance for officials returning to the Hague (Europol's headquarters) from a transfer in a third country. All of these measures are considered special and exceptional to officials of Europol serving in a third country. ENTRY INTO FORCE : 6 June 2003.�
