PURPOSE : to codify legislation relating to relating to the space for mounting the rear registration plate of two or three-wheel motor vehicles.
PROPOSED ACT : Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council.
CONTENT : the purpose of this proposal is to undertake a codification of Council Directive 93/94/EEC of 29 October 1993 relating to the space for mounting the rear registration plate of two or three-wheel vehicles. The new Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. The proposal fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
