Fishing in the North-East Atlantic: nominal catch statistics by Member States

PURPOSE: to codify provisions on the submission of nominal catch statistics by Member States fishing in the north-east Atlantic.
PROPOSED ACT: Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council.
CONTENT: the purpose of this proposal is to undertake a codification of Council Regulation 3880/91/EEC on the submission of nominal catch statistics by Member States fishing in the north-east Atlantic. The new Regulation will supersede the various acts incorporated in it and fully preserves the content of the acts being codified. It does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
