Community surveys on the structure of agricultural holdings: financial framework for the period 2007-2009 and the maximum Community contribution for Bulgaria and Romania

 The committee adopted the report by Janusz LEWANDOWSKI (EPP-ED, PL) approving, under the 1st reading of the codecision procedure, the proposed regulation amending Council Regulation (EEC) No 571/88 on the organisation of Community surveys on the structure of agricultural holdings, as regards the financial framework for the period 2007-2009 and the maximum Community contribution for Bulgaria and Romania. It adopted a drafting amendment clarifying that the total amount for the two accession countries is EUR 4 million, of which EUR 2 million is earmarked for Bulgaria and EUR 2 million for Romania.
